I graduated from Northeastern University in May 2024 with a BA in Approved Independent Studies in English and Video Production. Early in my degree, I noticed a gap in the academic programs offered at Northeastern; there was no degree that could adequately prepare me for a career in technical production of film and photography. I decided to create an Independent Major, designing my curriculum around core tenants of videography, photography, and production, with classes spanning from Media Studies, to Communications, to Art and Design. These classes prepared me and excited me for a career in production, while the other half of my degree emphasized my writing, storytelling, and communication skills - universal abilities that I am emboldened by and glad to take forward into my career.
 

 

Currently, I am seeking a position that enables me to continue to develop my skills in video production and visual storytelling. I am particularly interested in pursuing a career in Motion Graphics, Video Editing, or any other aspect of Post-Production, especially if I am involved in education - a twin passion of mine since working as a camp counselor and working in educational publishing during my co-op at Northeastern.
